The National Ambitions Programme

We are currently seeking to recruit Advisory Board Members to support the organisation in its next exciting phase of growth.

Dementia Support have created a unique community hub which provides integrated, wrap around services for people living with dementia, their family, and carers. Sage House is designed to truly enhance the wellbeing and quality of life for all with a bespoke, modern, and functional environment. Co-located with various partners in the statutory, commercial and voluntary sector, Sage House is the place in West Sussex where people can access the most up to date support, information and advice, care and assistance for anything related to dementia.

Sage House was always intended to be a template for other communities and being part of our Advisory Board will help us realise this ambition.

As an organisation, we are committed to providing opportunities that are inclusive and accessible to all. We strive to ensure our work reflects and represents the voices of everyone we engage with.

Becoming an Advisory Board Member

An exciting opportunity to help shape the next phase in our organisation, we aim to grow our voice and inspire other communities that there is a better way to support those living with dementia, their families and carers.
We are currently looking for individuals to advise and support the work of the charity in the following key areas;

• Providing advice on dementia services, infrastructures, and social care matters, including emerging threats and opportunities, competition, programmes, and activities in the rest of the UK.

• Provide expertise, advice and form a consultative and evaluative group as to the development and growth of Dementia Support to a national organisation is developed

• Provide board and management with objective opinions about the organisation

• Provide input, skill.

The Commitment

We are looking for individuals who will take an active role in supporting the future of Dementia Support, attending Advisory Board meetings (between 4-6 per year), reading papers, offering guidance on new initiatives, providing support in their areas of expertise, and helping to develop the reputation and success of the charity.
