Friday Focus - Sage House: Making Space for the Future
There has been a bit of hustle and bustle at Sage House over the past month. While our doors remain closed, our main carpark has been a hive of activity as work took place to extend it.
We had found that parking was increasingly becoming a struggle as more and more people visited Sage House, and we wanted to ensure this would be resolved by the time our doors could be reopened and customers welcomed back.
A portion of the fence, where our old bin store used to be, has been taken down and we’ve extended our carpark onto the unused land behind Sage House creating plenty of extra spaces.
This much needed extension means that there will be ample parking for more people to be able to visit Sage House to access our services, including Day Breaks and Wayfinding.
This small change will have big impact for us at Dementia Support, and for our customers. It really exemplifies how powerful something small can be. We are running a day of virtual talks and activities for Time to Talk Day on the 4th of February all around the Theme of the Power of Small and we would love for you to join us.
