David Menuisiers Open Day
Where?
Coombelands Racing Stables, Pulborough
As part of National Racehorse Week, get a glimpse into how racehorses are trained by David Menuisiers at Coombelands Racing Stables. From 10am - 2pm on Sunday 17th September, see a tour of the barns where all the horses are stabled, a demo by the farrier shoeing a horse, a demo from the vet from Sussex Equine, a talk with a jockey who will be there all day and will show you how to ride an equicizer; you can even have a go yourself! The day also includes a quiz for younger attendees, food and refreshments to purchase, a raffle and a silent auction with some amazing, exclusive prizes. The Open Day is in aid of Dementia Support and free to attend; make sure to register!

Rowdens' hands-on workshop at the Business Improvement Summit is designed specifically for small business owners and entrepreneurs looking to take their businesses to the next level.

Boxgrove Dog Show
Where?
Boxgrove Village Hall
Boxgrove Companion Dog Show (with obedience). Many stalls and refreshments available all day. Entries from 10:30am, Judging from 12 noon. Entry fees £2.00 per dog per class; 4 obedience classes, 7 pedigree classes, 14 novelty classes. Trade pitches available - to be booked and paid for in advance. Schedules are available at the Village Hall and the Shop.
