How your donation helps

Sage House is run primarily on the generous donations of our supporters, and costs £1.4 million per year to run. Every donation helps people living with dementia access the life-changing services and facilities they need to be able to live well with dementia. You are making a real, positive impact within your community.

Thank you to all the fantastic Charitable Trusts who support Sage House. Their generous support enables thousands of families to access life-changing dementia support.

Over the past year we have continued to expand our services to meet the ever-growing need for dementia services in the local area. Our annual review shows our achievements as a charity in the past year and how many people affected by dementia we have supported.

You are helping real people in your community

"John and I both massively enjoy coming to Sage House; John in particular. He feels comfortable here and it’s a place where there is no judgement, which is priceless. It is reassuring to know the staff can help with issues regarding dementia/ Alzheimer’s.

"For two years we have enjoyed the support and friendships made at Sage House, mixing with everyone experiencing similar circumstances as us. We thoroughly enjoy the History Talks which take place and have attended plenty of these, with another booked for July. The Christmas dinners are great too, with all the entertainment on show. I feel lucky to have had prior knowledge of Sage House, having brought a neighbour for an assessment before John was diagnosed, and made initial contact with the Wayfinders."

Evidence of our impact

  • 10% better Quality of Life

  • 16% higher Wellbeing

  • 20% higher Life Satisfaction

Likewise, their care partners had better Quality of Life due to improved access to information and support.

It also showed that by having all dementia services accessible under one familiar roof, Sage House could provide better support for a smaller cost, while taking pressure off local NHS services.

We save the NHS £1,722 per person, each year.
