Decided to fundraise for Dementia Support and unsure what to do next? Find out more! 

Setting yourself a challenge can bring so many more benefits than simply raising money for a great cause. It can also help you to achieve your own health and wellbeing goals and give you something to be proud of. If you are unsure what you want to do to raise money for Dementia Support, here are some ideas below for inspiration. 

  • Afternoon Tea, coffee morning, BBQ, or dinner party

  • Challenges: swim, run, walk, cycle, tough mudder/obstacle race, triathlon, Three peaks

  • Collection tin or donate your spare change pot

  • Dress up or dress down day at work or school

  • Face a fear: abseil, sky dive,

  • Hold a sale: cakes, books, 2nd hand clothes, or sell old items on ebay/facebook

  • Month long challenge (e.g. walk/run 3 miles a day, 300 squats per day, 100 press ups, 10,000 steps per day)

  • Organise an event- sports tournament, golf day quiz night, bingo, open day, Easter Egg Hunt

  • Quit a habit and get sponsored

  • Raffle, Tombola or auction

  • Set up a monthly donation (e.g. £3 per month)

  • Shave head or beard

Run with Purpose in 2023 for Dementia Support

Set yourself a challenge and Run with Purpose for Dementia Support to raise funds to help us support people living with dementia and their loved ones.

 

Whether you want to push yourself to run a marathon, challenge yourself to The Great South Run, or set a number of runs to complete across a month - it's up to you!
