Dip For Dementia - Feb 23rd - Feb 28th

Anytime, anywhere convenient
Looking to set yourself a challenge? Between 23rd - 28th February, we're encouraging people who are healthy and able to take a sponsored cold-water dip in aid of Sage House. Money raised from the event will go towards providing a wide range of dementia services and support for people living with dementia and their loved ones. Why not take the plunge this February and make a real difference to such an amazing cause?

Spitfire Operations at RAF Westhampnett

Discover the story of the rare Spitfire HF Mk VI, its 1942 arrival at RAF Westhampnett, the high-altitude threat it faced, and the engineering that made it unique, presented by Mark Hiller, pilot, instructor, aviation historian and author with 30 years’ experience.

Workshop for Customers - Using technology with people living with dementia

10am - 11:30am, at Sage House
A 1.5 hour workshop by customers, for customers (with Wayfinders too). The session will talk about and demonstrate: Increasing independence using tech; Alarms, notifications & reminders; Trackers for people's location; Finding mislaid items - phone, keys, glasses, wallet etc.; Sharing email accounts & online calendars. Free to attend - donations gratefully received.

Flood Environmental Health Presentation

Join us for a presentation on flood resilience engagement, presented by Environment Agency. This presentation will cover topics such as: Who the Environment Agency team are; What the team do in your area; Community resilience; Flood resilience - what can you do? This is free to attend.

Sage House Disco

Come and enjoy our first Sage House Disco! Enjoy a relaxed, dementia-friendly afternoon of music and movement. Move, sing along, or simply enjoy the atmosphere. This will be a welcoming, friendly space to enjoy a Saturday together, for our customers, friends and family. £5 per person - includes refreshments.

All the Hits and Glamour with Dolly Parton - Afternoon Tea

1pm - 3pm, at Sage House
Diamond Dolly is a dazzling tribute show by the talented Lallie, capturing Dolly Parton in her prime.
With spot-on vocals, authentic costumes, and plenty of sequins, wigs, and sparkle, Lallie brings Dolly’s heart, style, and greatest hits to life. Friday 17th March 1pm – 3pm. £14 per person includes – delicious sandwiches, cake and Tea/Coffee.

The History of Rolls Royce

Andrew Ball, Head of Corporate Relations and Heritage, will explore the history of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, from its founding by Charles Rolls and Henry Royce to its most iconic 20th-century models. He will also discuss the brand’s revival under BMW, the establishment of the Goodwood headquarters, and the evolution of Rolls-Royce Bespoke, showing how each car can be made truly unique.

Witch Craft & Cunning Folk of Sussex

This talk explores the myths and realities of witchcraft in West Sussex, using local court records and folklore. Local Historian Chris Hare will examine how widespread these beliefs were, how witches were treated, and how witchcraft shaped popular culture.

The Space Race History Talk

Join Harry Sherrard as he explores how the Space Race, born out of Cold War rivalry, spanned from 1957 to 1972, driving extraordinary technological advances and culminating in the U.S. moon landings. What began as President Kennedy’s seemingly impossible challenge became one of humanity’s greatest achievements.
