People living with dementia can come to Sage House and use the facilities for the day
​
Sage House offers a regular Day Break service to provide families some respite during their dementia journey. Carers and families have peace of mind that their loved ones are being cared for in a safe environment by our experienced support workers. Day Breaks currently run Monday - Friday (excluding bank holidays). Places are dependant on current availability and allocated after an assessment to understand individual needs and interests.

Our Day Break service offers:

Whole day care (9.30am – 3.30pm) including lunch

1:3 support with trained and experienced staff

Wellbeing and Therapeutic Activities including; reminiscence, seated chair exercise, therapy animals, reading aloud, singing and much more!

Attending organised inhouse events throughout the year including music performances, valentines day, pancake day, and festive celebrations

Personal care support
-
Medication administration
-
Carers can use our Wayfinding Service for questions, information and advice

A two course home-cooked lunch provided by our onsite Café

Option to drop-in to social Activities such as singing and art sessions

There are also optional extras such as the use of our Therapy Rooms for hairdressing, holistic and complementary therapies such as foot care and bathing.*
