We’ve partnered with expert Will writers, Octopus Legacy. This free service is open to all our supporters and anyone thinking about writing their Will, over the age of 18. The quickest way to write your Will is *online (available to supporters in England and Wales) using the code SHWILLFREE at checkout. Writing your Will online can be written within 15-20 minutes. Your Will is then verified by a group of solicitors and sent back to you for signing and storing.

Dementia Support will cover the cost of simple wills, which averages around £150, if a legacy gift is given to our charity, but our will writing partners can provide more complex wills for an additional fee.

Gifts in wills are important to the successful future of Sage House and Dementia Support and the services we operate from here at Sage House and out in our communities. After taking care of your loved ones, leaving a percentage of your estate or a specific gift to Dementia Support can make a huge positive difference to families living with dementia.

You can choose to share your name and contact details with Sage House Dementia Support if you so wish during the process or afterwards. This data is shared securely with Dementia Support and no other third parties. We would like to be able to thank you and update you with our ongoing impact and plans. However, we do understand you may want to keep your gift private, and this can be made clear when completing your will.

Yes. If the will is simple, mirror wills are free. There are two options available to supporters to write a mirror will with a partner. The first being the usual online route. You can write your own will using the SHWILLFREE coupon code and mirror each other's wishes during that process. Or, You can use the offline Free Will writing service, where you can have a mirrored will drawn up in person or over the phone. You will just need to call the Octopus Legacy team on 020 4525 3605 to arrange an appointment and quote your charity name to obtain your free will.

There are a number of charities who offer a free will writing service twice a year in March and October. Working with a trusted will writing supplier, we have made the decision to offer our Free Will Service all year round with multiple will writing options to suit your needs, and hope that you would choose to leave a gift to Dementia Support and the many families living with dementia.
