One Donation, Double The Impact 

We are delighted to once again have match funding available as part of our ONE donation, DOUBLE the Impact appeal. It means that every donation made to Dementia Support from midday Tuesday 28th November up to and including Tuesday 12th December 2023 will be DOUBLED by special match fund champions.

Thank you for helping us raise £105,000 for Sage House and by doing so, enabling us to expand our services and support for the carers of people living with dementia.

Jean & John

Caring for wife living with dementia

John and Jean met more than 60 years ago when they played sport competitively as teenagers. 
Today, John is sole carer for his wife, who lives with dementia. He describes Sage House as a lifeline.

Grief Cafe Dementia Support Group

After their lives were devastated by the death of their husbands through dementia, Susan, Wendy and Anne found comfort in their friendship and volunteering at Sage House.

With dementia numbers on the rise in the UK, we are appealing for your support in helping us to expand our vital services and support groups for the carers of people living with dementia and their loved ones.

 

At Sage House we recognise the instrumental role carers play in supporting individuals affected by the condition. For this reason we provide wraparound support for them, delivering:

  • advice

  • education

  • emotional support

  • physical and mental wellbeing

  • respite care
