Community Outreach - Southbourne
Held every other Monday (excluding bank holidays) between 1:30pm - 3:00pm, the community outreach group at St John's Church, Stein Road, Southbourne, PO18 8LB, is a welcoming space where those living with dementia, along with their friends, family, or carer, can visit for an afternoon of activities, physical and mental stimulation, and socialising.
Next dates - 20th July, 3rd August, 17th August, 14th September, 28th September, 12th October
Meet your Outreach Coordinator
"I have been working at Sage House for almost 4 years, as a support worker in Daybreaks. I took on the role of Outreach worker last summer along side my support worker role. I have been working within the care sector in different environments for well over 20 years. I have supported an array of different people in different situations.
I would encourage people to attend Outreach sessions as it is a chance to socialise with others within the local community. It is a chance to meet new people and chat over a cuppa and join in with various activities." - Tracy
