Our third Sage House Sportive took place on Sunday 21st September, in partnership with The Rotary Club of Bognor Hotham.

We were treated to glorious weather, which made both the cycling and the stunning South Downs views an absolute pleasure. A total of 71 cyclists took part, including many familiar faces who have supported the event since the very first year. Riders set off in small groups to tackle either the 25- or 50-mile routes, enjoying the challenge and camaraderie along the way.
Afterwards, Daisy’s Café provided the perfect place to refuel, relax, and share stories. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed with people soaking up the sunshine in the garden at Sage House. Cyclists were chatting about their experiences, the scenery, and how the Sportive is fast becoming a popular annual event to support such a worthwhile cause.

A special thank you goes to Dec Baker-Irons, who set up a JustGiving page and raised an incredible £490 in sponsorship — a fantastic achievement!
We are also deeply grateful to Gavin and Karen from The Rotary Club of Bognor Hotham for their dedication and hard work in helping us bring this event to life once again.
Next year’s event date will be announced soon — we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another great day of cycling in support of Sage House.
