Your kindness has helped our Christmas Appeal Raise £160,792 to Bring Joy Through Activities

We are incredibly proud and grateful to share that our Christmas Appeal has raised an amazing £160,792 for Sage House and the families we support.

This wonderful response means so much, not only to our charity, but to the thousands of people living with dementia, their carers, and their wider families who rely on Sage House now and will

do in the years ahead.

The power of activities

At the heart of this appeal was a focus on the importance that activities matter. For people living with dementia, meaningful activities can bring comfort, confidence, and moments of joy. They help people feel connected, valued, and understood. For carers and families, shared activities offer precious moments together, reduced isolation, and enable memories to continue to be created.

As Helen, who supports her mum Joy, shared: “When we’re at Sage House, it stops being a caring role, we’re just mother and daughter again. We laugh, we do something creative, and at Outreach we sing and dance. It’s something to look forward to. Sage House is such a gift.”

Making a lasting difference for families

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the funds raised will help us to continue and grow our activity programmes at Sage House and out in local communities. From creative and cognitive stimulation to social connection and gentle movement, these activities bring comfort, stimulation and togetherness to those who need it most.
