A dedicated team from Sage House, based in Tangmere, West Sussex took on the Mud Monsters Run on Sunday 17th May, tackling mud pits, obstacle courses and challenging terrain to raise vital funds for local people living with dementia and their families.
The team joined hundreds of participants at the popular challenge event, pushing themselves through the course to help ensure Sage House can continue providing compassionate dementia support, guidance and activities for people across the local community.
Funds raised through the challenge will support the charity’s ongoing work helping people live well with dementia through its wide range of services, including support groups, activities, personalised guidance, dementia advice, carer support and community outreach.
So far, the team has raised nearly £4,000 with donations still continuing to come in.
Emma Radley, CEO at Sage House, said: “We’re incredibly proud of our team for taking on the Mud Monsters Run in support of Sage House Tangmere and their fundraising efforts will make a meaningful difference to the lives of those we support. It was a tough challenge, but our staff supported one another every step of the way, demonstrating the same care and dedication they bring to Sage House every day.”
Every donation helps Sage House continue being a trusted source of support for families navigating dementia, ensuring people have access to specialist advice, meaningful activities and a welcoming community at every stage of their journey.
Anyone wishing to support the team can still donate via the official fundraising page: www.dementiasupport.org.uk/mud-monsters
